Job Description
Designation: Agriculture Associate (Female Candidate Preferrred)
Location: Ahmedabad
Experience:
• 1 year of working experience in related field
• Experience in Development Sector with been an advantage
Qualification:
● Bachelor or Master’s in Agriculture (Soil Science / Agronomy / Plant/pathology / Plant breeding / Entomology) from reputed university
Skills:
● Excellent oral and written communication skills. (English, Hindi and
Gujarati).
● Knowledge of MIS, Management and Finance
● Ability to work on proposal / report writing.
● Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with team members from diverse backgrounds
Responsibilities
● Evaluation of Tapi and Kheda cooperatives
● Assessing the needs of the cooperatives, in consultation with our aagewans
● Creating a business plan for the cooperative; leading and monitoring its implementation
● Identifying and building relationships with key stakeholders, including agricultural and business experts
● Management of sales and marketing team - setting and achieving sales targets with team
● Monitoring the program, finance and accounts
● Setting up and maintaining sales systems, forwards and backwards linkages with marketing and sales
● Any other task related to SEWA Federation’s work in agriculture and allied activities.
