Need Color matching master
Job description
A Matching Master designs and assists with the production of clothing, identifies trends,
and selects styles, fabrics, colors, prints and trims for a collection
Roles and Responsibilities
● Experimentation with yarn, weave, colour, fabric, dying and texture
● Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of new design and production techniques and
textile technology
● Making up sets of sample designs
● Analyzing designs for forthcoming seasons and predicting prints and designs which
will sell
● Designing color mood boards interpreting the key design colors of the season
● Analysis and research works
Requirement
● Creative flair and artistic ability
● A good eye for color, texture, fabrics and patterns
● Excellent attention to detail
● An interest in fashion and textiles, and an understanding of color trends and materials
● Understanding and experience of using different color textile processes and
techniques
● Ability to work to deadlines
● Good communication skills
● Knowledge of relevant software and machinery used in textile
● Proven working experience as a colour matching master
