Job Description

Use computer software to prepare the equipment for use
Load paper into printers and plotters for output
Know and perform the necessary commands to begin operations
Observe all equipment and troubleshoot any error messages, malfunctions or halts in production by entering commands
Maintain smooth operations and reload paper, making adjustments to the process as necessary and notifying a supervisor if additional resources are needed
Complete production logs in order to record problems and actions taken
Resolve user questions and requests
Take preventative care of equipment including testing and maintenance
Follow all manufacturer’s instructions and call for repairs if necessary
