Job Description

Responsible for fabrication of Structures, SS and Aluminum including high precision machining components for Defense, Hydro, Steam Turbine and other applications.
Should have knowledge and experience of various weldingpractice pertaining to TIG, MIG, SMAW.
Should have knowledge of NDT process, ASME, GMAW and GTAW.
Responsible for implementation of TQM, TPM, Lean Manufacturing and Productivity improvement methods.
To co‐ordinate all activities required to direct and control manufacturing quality.
Review product quality requirements for individual clients and projects and interact with QA/QC for QAP.
Interface with customers and suppliers to ensure consistent quality of product, validation of process, provide necessary documentations and enforcing good manufacturing systems and process.
Ensure those requirements are understood and implemented to manage the quality of manufactured items to meet the requirements of the contract specifications.
Aware of ISO systems and its implementations.
Ensure that the department is performing against the KPI’s set. Report to Senior Management the KPI performance any need for improvements.
Control and Maintenance of Fabrication Department Budget and interface with Machine shop Head and Marketing Head.
To act as Safety Officer.
Desirable : Knowledge of Cladding , Overlay welding application for SS , Inconel will be an added advantage.
