Draw pattern & embroidery sketches if required.
Conduct research about the latest designs and developments from different sources.
Indulge in planning future product developments with senior management.
Visiting market regularly for new fabrics, designs, prints, value additions, etc.
Be as creative as possible in patterns and value additions.
Creating production sheets of all samples created on a daily basis and filing them.
Provide sample garments to agents and sales representatives, and arrange for showings of sample garments at sales meetings or fashion shows.
Read scripts and consult directors and other production staff in order to develop design concepts and plan productions.
