Job Description
Responsibilities:
1. Planning and developing merchandising strategies.
2. A merchandiser has to communicate with all internal department related to production and for externally client, buyer and supplier etc.
3. Responsible for sample developed according to buyers instruction. For internal sample development should be coordinate with internal Fashion design team and product managementteam.
4. Based on sample approval has to prepare production plan in accordance client requirement with product management
5. Sourcing of raw material, has to coordinate with supplier and external jobber for timely production completion
6. Responsible for cost analysis and approval from manager for particular product prior to production
7. Responsible to prepare various types of internal order sheets such as costing sheet, job order and BOM, preparing PO, trim card, production process plan etc.
8. Should coordinate with production department to follow-up Time and action calendar on are gular basis to ensure on-time delivery with the right quality and quantity.
9. Should coordinate with quality management team to assure product making are in compliance.10. Hold weekly critical path meetings to identify any issues that may impact delivery dates, and communicate to the factory to speed up the processes where needed.
11. Liaising with the factories to discuss production issues and look for ways to improvement.
12. Identify production and supply difficulties and deal with any problems or delays as they arise13. manage, train and supervise junior staff.
14. Reporting to the high authority in need basis.
15. Managing the educational materials for training employees
