Job Title: Jewellery Designer (Female Preferred)
No. Of Vacancy: 1 (Day Shift)
Job Profile:
• Typical everyday activities for a jewellery designer include mounting (making the framework for the piece), setting (adjusting the frame) and casting (making a decorative detail by pouring molten metal into a mould.) Additional responsibilities include polishing, stamping, electro-plating and wire working.
Job Description:
• Drafting designs on paper or with computer software
• Selecting and assessing the quality of gemstones, such as diamonds
• Helping customers to make the right choice for them.
• Researching and evaluating pieces and materials.
• Valuing pieces and materials.
• Designing new pieces and building moulds.
• Restoring old or broken pieces.
• Making new pieces.
• Cleaning and polishing jewellery.
• Keeping informed about changes in the industry.
• Casting new pieces in metal, using wax models as a guide
• Crafting custom designs
• Polishing and smoothing metal to ensure the jewellery is comfortable for the wearer
Requirements and skills:
• High school diploma.
• Proficiency with computer-aided design.
• Fingers dexterity.
• Artistic abilities.
• Previous experience.
Shift Timings:
• 10:00AM to 07:00 PM(IST)
Total experience:
• 2-20 yrs
Salary Range:
• 20-30 k(per month)
