Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
• Overseeing the sampling and production process for in-house and outsourcing.
• Ensuring product selection is as per the brand requirements.
• Prepare time and action (T&A) plan for garment orders as per limited fixed time.
• Ensure the booking of raw materials (Fabrics & others trims).
• Communicating design and garment construction details from tech pack to cutters, embroiderers and tailors in sampling and production.
• Responsible for managing time and action calendar and ensuring all samples are made in a timely manner. Ensuring sampling and production is cost effective.
• Responsible for material sourcing, costings, fabric, embroidery and trim testing as well as print development from local vendors.
• Daily coordination with design team to ensure all design, embroidery and print.
• Requirements of highest quality standards are being achieved in each garment sample.
• Identifying suppliers and manufacturers for sourcing and manufacturing.
• Estimating costs and setting the quality standards. Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
• Preparing and presenting periodic merchandising reports.
• Smooth coordination with other functions for meeting work deliverables.
• Ensure the quantity & quality of raw material collected from the supplier.
• Monitor the garment’s production progress as per the T&A Plan.
• Monitor the desired quality level of the produced garments.
• Monitor garments packing instructions.
• Ensure the timely delivery of finished garments.
Skills and Experience
• Must have 3-4 years’ experience working as a Production Merchandiser for a fashion brand or export house.
• Must be excellent at time management, multi-tasking and people management.
• Be willing to adapt and collaborate with all teams within the company
• Have project management experience. Be able to prepare reports and plan
• Be decisive, committed and able to work under pressure
• Good at managing budgets and problem solving
• Have good communication and presentation skills
• Have a positive attitude to work and be able to motivate a team
• Must have 3-4 years’ experience working as a Production Merchandiser for a luxury fashion brand or export house.
