Business operations managers: In-charge of maintaining a company's operations to ensure maximum profit.
This involves:
• Overseeing marketing strategies.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Managing a company or department's budgeting and spending.
• Devise business strategies to develop or improve the way a company functions.
• Analyze financial and customer information.
• Research the consumer market and evaluate the cost of running a business versus the profit they make in order to see if any operations need revising.
• Manage the actual operations themselves and may also be in charge of employee performance reviews.
• Build vision & motivation of every individual associated with the company for the smooth operations.
• Collaborate with relevant parties to scale up.
Business managers may also come up with company policies and procedures and create strategies to ensure the company and its products aren't harmed. The job often requires collaboration with team members from other departments and many of the tasks can overlap with the tasks of a CEO. They typically have to report to a team of board members, company stakeholders, or other high-up supervisors.
