Job Description
Procurement Engineer
Experience: 3 to 5 years
Education: B.E./B.Tech Mechanical or Civil stream
Can articulate well with good negotiation and communication skills.
Salary: 4 lacs per annum
Roles and Responsibility:
➢ Managing overall purchase activities, budgeting, material planning & sourcing of material.
➢ Responsible for purchase management, vendor management, policy setting and to drive cost saving initiatives.
➢ Establish strategic alliances/tie-ups with financially strong/reliable suppliers, strengthen vendor source & develop alternate source of suppliers.
➢ Ensure that all purchases are made within the budget in an effort to confirm all cost cutting best practice protecting employer’s bottom line.
➢ Develop and maintain cross functional relationships to provide effective support to the business, enhancing the profitability of company.
➢ Regular meetings with team members to ensure that processes and procedures are understood and executed as per the requirement also developing team coordination for fast & smooth process.
