Position Summary
The RSM (Regional Sales Manager) offers support to the sale of a business products in a specified region or geographical area. The regional sales manager provides ongoing support to distribute and produce to product or service. Additionally, the regional sales manager manages a sales team in the specified area. Also ensures profitable growth in sales, revenue through planning, execution and management of a supportive team.
Responsibilities
• Develop Distribution points which includes Creating, Developing, Retaining and Maintaining relationship with distributors
• Create regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives
• SupportAreaManagerswith day-to-day store operation
• Evaluate Area, Products and Individual performances
• Report on regional sales results
• Forecast quarterly and annual profits
• Identify hiring needs, select and train new salespeople
• Prepare and review the annual budget for the area of responsibility
• Analyse regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth
• Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions
• Participate in decisions for expansion or acquisition
• Suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction
Requirements
• MBA in Sales and Marketing & Industry skilled professional
• Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager,Area Manageror similar senior sales role
• Ability to measure and analyse key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs)
• Familiarity with CRM software
• Understanding of Sales and Marketing operations
• Ability to lead and motivate a high performance sales team
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
• Availability to travel as needed
