Job Description

Check agent invoices prepared by the Invoice clerk in Operations
Ensure that terminal tariff charges are accurate
Process entries in accounting system
Issue invoices to respective agents
Attend to queries related to agent invoices
Follow up with agents to ensure timely collection of payments
Update accounting system on receipt of payments
Collect deposit slip from revenue collectors in Commercial department on a daily basis
Collect a summarized sheet about daily collections
Periodically check system entries done by revenue collectors
Periodically check reports related to paid invoices, unpaid invoices and total invoices
Identify and reconcile discrepancies in coordination with revenue collectors/ cashiers
Verify bank statements with deposit slips
Prepare MIS reports about Receivable Status, cash deposited in Bank
Provide regular process control checks, initiate and support performance improvement activities
