Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
Collaborate with management to identify company training needs.
Schedule appropriate training sessions.
Oversee and direct seminars, workshops, individual / group training sessions, and lectures.
Plan and implement an effective training curriculum.
Supervise training budgets.
Prepare hard copy training materials such as module summaries, videos, and presentations.
Train and guide new employees.
Develop monitoring systems to ensure that all employees are performing job responsibilities
according to training.
Select and book training date and time, and venues as the case may be.
Keep attendance and other records
Conduct evaluations to identify areas of improvement
Excellent communication skills
Comfortable talking in front of a group as well as one-on-one with an individual
Able to give and receive feedback effectively
Can drive understanding (i.e. using visual aids, able to recognize when a group or
individual is lost and needs more attention)
Ability to follow up

Identifies learning needs within assigned business units. Develops professional,

Develops and implements learning curriculum that is consistent with current trends and

Utilizes internal and external resources as necessary to achieve goals
Collaborates with training team to assess, design, develop and maintain training solutions
and components
Tracks and analyzes learning curriculum effectiveness through various evaluation
techniques, including the evaluation of individual performances
Provides reporting to business area and training management
Assists in educating employees on the use of the Learning Management System
Communicates effectively and proactively with subject matter experts, business partners,
and design team
With supervision, manages project resources (people and material) to ensure deliverables
are completed in scope and on schedule
Maintains current business knowledge; stays abreast of market events, investment
product enhancements, and successful sales techniques in order to be up-to-speed on
potential training topics
Encourages participation and builds learner motivation during classes
Participates in the quality audits and reviews the call monitoring reports to assist in
identifying trends and needs
Track, measure and evaluate training programs to demonstrate value and educate others
on plans and results
Participation in the development of training courses with regard to product strategy of the
company
Creating presentations that outline the features and benefits of products and services
Ensuring that all training materials are up to date and relevant to the company’s current
offerings
Helping customers use new products or services by providing training or troubleshooting
problems or issues
Maintaining current knowledge of the company’s offerings and competitors’ products
Preparing for classes by creating syllabi, lesson plans, and handouts of products
Gaining a deep understanding of the product or service and its potential applications
within the industry
Requirements and skills:
Prior training, teaching or presentation experience
Understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools
Willingness to keep abreast of new techniques in corporate teaching
Phenomenal communication, presentation and public speaking skills
Organizational and time management abilities
Critical thinking and decision making
Competent PC skills and proficiency in MS Office (esp. PowerPoint); e-learning
software is an asset
Preferred: Experience in Customer Service or Call Center
Positive attitude (solution oriented and ability to deal with ambiguity)
Professionalism and takes direction well; organized, displays sound judgment, has
solid problem solving, and critical thinking skills
