Job Description

Position: UI/UX Designer
Responsibilities
Gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with product managers and engineers
Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to implement UX/UI design strategy
Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
Facilitate the stakeholder’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping, and user-testing experiences for digital products
Find creative ways to solve UX problems (example: usability, findability)
Design & deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys & mockups optimised for a wide range of devices and interfaces
Make strategic design & user-experience decisions related to core & new functions and features
Take a user-centred design approach and rapidly test and iterate designs
Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers
Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends


Requirements and skills
2-5 years of UI/UX design experience
Excellent visual design skills and proficiency in design tools, such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Zeplin, Figma, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills preferred
Experience working with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision
Extensive experience in using UI/UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
Experience working in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications
Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images
